A leader in accounts payable automation, Priority Commercial Payments offers a suite of payment tools, adding value to the buyer-supplier relationship. Their Commercial Payments Exchange (CPX) can automate and manage all of accounts payable through a single payment file, as well as earn incentives and rebates. The challenge was to better clarify the benefits and value behind CPX. With that, Dovetail set out to establish a visual look and streamlined language, all designed to demonstrate, simply and succinctly, those benefits.

Taking Commercial Payments to the Next Level

From helping architect and design a revamped website that guides visitors through the process, to concepting and creating a “how-to” video that explains the benefits and value of CPX, Dovetail ensured that the ease and seamlessness of the platform was consistently communicated.

The end result made for a more direct conversation, punctuated by clean, aesthetically striking design, allowing people to better understand what Priority Commercial Payments offers.

Bringing Unlimited Options into Focus

The next challenge was to present payment solutions to a wide variety of target audiences without overwhelming the site visitors with industry jargon and a multitude of options. Dovetail started by rethinking the entire UX of the site — rather than present site visitors with a solutions-first approach, our site design allows visitors to self-identify which target audience category they fall into. From there, solutions are categorized and presented based on relevancy to each target, removing the never-ending list of solutions and demonstrating our expertise to each audience. Our “Who We Help” and “Our Solutions” design removes the high barrier to entry and makes PPS easy to understand for new visitors and potential leads.

The clean, modular design paired with the unique left-hand main navigation parallels Priority Payment System’s innovative approach to technology and customer-first methodology.

With simplified site language, along with bright pops of color and intuitive UX, the new PPS website is an easy-to-use tool that helps merchants, FIs and banks, software partners and developers, and ISO/agents alike understand the revolutionary technology available from PPS.
