Everybody loves a good story. It's at the core of everything that draws us closer, attracts us, motivates us... causes us to laugh, cry, gasp, or shake our heads in disbelief. Every single brand has a story, it just needs to be shared, told to the right audience, in the right way. To paraphrase Obi-Wan, stories surround us and penetrate us. They bind the galaxy together.
A storyteller obsessed with finding “the big idea,” Dan has worked as creative director and concept guru on both the agency and client sides for over 30 years.
In his perpetual journey to translate marketing needs into a compelling tale, Dan has delivered dynamic thinking to a number of brands, including MillerCoors, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Bacardi, Famous Footwear, Naturalizer, Original Dr. Scholl’s, Nestle-Purina, Motown Records, Polygram, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Universal Pictures, St. Louis Lambert International Airport, Drury Hotels and more. He’s a graduate of University of Missouri, St. Louis with a degree in English, a Certificate in Writing and an encyclopedic obsession of all things pop culture. At home, Dan enjoys hanging out with his family, being proudly nerdy, and consistently finding space for just one more tiki mug. Of particular note, Dan is proud of the fact that he saw the original “Star Wars” opening weekend, in 1977, on one of only 43 screens in the entire world. (That pretty much makes him a Jedi.)
