Our Brand 2025 Year in Review!

On behalf of all of our Dovetailers, we ask that you indulge us for the next few minutes while we regale you with our recap of 2025, expressed via poetic voice.

*ahem*

‘Twas nearly the new year, the inbox grew light,
the decks were all spellchecked, the exports looked right.
The moodboards were nestled in neatly named files,
and we opened our notes to look back in time.

The clients are snoozing (well, we hope at least),
while visions of campaigns dance and leap.
And Team Dovetail whispered: “Let’s take a look back,”
as we clinked our glasses to good work done with class.

We promised to tell it, so settle on in,
a year full of strategy, launches, and wins.
Here’s to the months where a lot of things happened,
equal parts strategy, smarts, and real passion.

You Like Websites? We Did Websites.

Some sites need sparkle; this one needed a little facelift!

We rebuilt FlySTL.com to be a true traveling companion with clear navigation, mobile-friendly thinking, accessible paths, and content that actually helps people get where they’re off to.

Add in our exciting addition to their social media team and our beloved yearly Art of Travel partnership, and well… St. Louis Lambert International Airport didn’t just look good, it became a true STL home base.

Oops. Sorry, forgot about the rhyming thing. *AHEM*

To a homepage that answers in under six ticks,
a layout that guides you with no hidden tricks.
A brand that says “Welcome!” as soon as you land,
STL’s really done with a Dovetail hand.

Attention Spans Are Shifting. But Ads Can Be Everywhere!

This year, the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Thick-It brand wanted to put “TV” into the rooms that matter to their members and key audiences. Think targeting by job title, industry, company name, and more. We got creative with a whole map of demographic tools, not just a loud advertising megaphone. These campaigns that aired on LinkedIn, Hulu, YouTube, and beyond kept pace, messaging with clarity, maintaining a smart frequency, and finding the right audience at the right time.

And speaking of ads, we can’t forget about the amazingly fun work that we did for our new friends at the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO)! From billboards to digital, we helped BRO say, “The beach is closer than you think.” Then, we brought Dovetail right to the action… like, actually. A few of our crew hopped on a plane and captured footage for future ads, from the runway to the terminals to the beach.

Phew. That was a lot of a achievement, so let’s break up the serious work with a… DRUMROLL, PLEASE…. poem.

Where “broad” meets “exact”, you have to earn every view!
We know that brand stories travel much farther on cue.
We placed every message where meaning was high.
Not SHOUTING to crowds, simply waving “hi” to their “why”.

Video? This is Art.

Karla Smith Behavioral Health (KSBH) was gearing up a capital campaign that had a lot of heart, and was ready for a sharpening of vision. Our dedicated team planned, scripted, posed, and filmed a story about hope, healing, and home. We flew drones (Steffy flew one drone, and let’s just say we aren’t putting her in a cockpit anytime soon), used some very clever AI concepting to preview KSBH’s future campus, and brought life to the Belleville space that will be dedicated to true healing.

While we’re on the topic of building, obviously, in order to build a world-class advanced manufacturing hub, you need the world to actually know about it. We know this, and so does the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center St. Louis (AMICSTL). So, off we go with a stakeholder-welcoming video that’s suited for websites, social media, and more. The storyline is simple: advanced manufacturing brings opportunity, and it’s knocking on STL’s door. The ground has been broken for this North City facility and along with it, the breaking of one more barrier to more thriving communities.

OKAY, GUESS WHAT, TIME FOR ANOTHER VERY, VERY GOOD POEM!

We lit up these stories with lenses and light,
then cut to the truth that makes it all feel right.
From scripts to the set, and the slate to the score,
if it matters, we film it. We know you’ll want more!

And All The Rest

We did a lot this year. Everything here is just the tip of the iceberg. It’d be impossible to get all of our projects down on paper!

We love looking back on our group accomplishments, but we’d be remiss to not look at each person and give them their 15 seconds of… what’s that?? Yes, 15 seconds of POETRY!

Okay, here we go:

Hunter framed up the story and got it just right, from BRO’s sunny runways to KSBH’s light.

Spain! Portugal! Mexico! Stamps on the passport page, but Vinnie still kept our SEO tuned like a gauge.

A steady guide with treats at the ready, Jennifer S. kept the client ships moving and the projects coming steady.

She got engaged this year, a bright new start! Clients love Honna, she wins over their hearts.

Sydney’s a breeze that makes our work sing! Little baby Matthew just added some spring.

When the rush was on and pixels had to align, Steve brought the patience that helped our work shine.

Two titles, one tempo, he’s creative and clear. Scott champions our work and gets it in gear.

Bex brought us Nora, our toothless, tiny star, and filled our days with designs that travel far.

Steffy sold candles and wrote copy that lands, she watched over social media with caffeinated hands.

Jennifer A. handles budgets with a gardener’s grace and brought her extra produce to just the right place.

We did it. We’re glad our Dovetail community was along for the ride with us. We learned a lot, we kept it moving, we made some friends along the way.

Here’s to 2026. Thanks for building this year with us, and let’s make the next one count.
